The Total Solar Eclipse of 2017The total solar eclipse of 2017 was one of the most awesome things I’ve ever been able to witness with my own eyes. I can’t even begin to describe how it was.

It’s an odd feeling knowing that something is happening in space that not a single person on earth can do anything about. It was really a moment that strengthened my faith in God and made me realize just how small we are as human beings.

While I did manage to get in a few pictures of the total solar eclipse of 2017, it made me realize that I’ll never be an astrology photographer. Maybe with a little more practice. As much as I don’t really care for the eclipse pictures I took, I figured it was better to have taken some than to not have taken any at all. They’re not bad, they’re just way out of focus. Apparently my eyes aren’t as good as I thought they were.

I did, however, see the cutest couple looking at the total solar eclipse of 2017 through an oatmeal box. They were an older couple that looked like a couple of high school students. Really, it was the sweetest thing how they kept passing the box back and forth to each other. Their son had a $20,000 setup and every once in awhile they’d go look through his lens in amazement. He let me look a couple of times and I couldn’t help but feel the same amazement.

At any rate, here are my pictures of the total solar eclipse of 2017 taken in St. Clair, Missouri at a rest area. Please feel free to share my photographs on your social media sites and when you get a moment, you can head to my Facebook page. If you like what you see, please leave me a review! It would be much appreciated!
