I knew I wanted nature photography pictures from Dogwood Canyon, but I didn’t really know what to expect when I arrived the other day. The trail itself is about 4 miles long and without knowing what I was getting into, I wanted to bring everything I could.
Luckily for me, they had bicycle rentals with a little child cart in tow. It wasn’t the best ride, but it did keep me from having to carry everything for a 4-mile hike.
Needless to say, I ended up with some beautiful nature photography! By the way, if you’re into nature photography like I am, there’s no better place to go during autumn.
The first parcels of the property were acquired in 1990 by Johnny Morris, founder/CEO of Bass Pro Shops. The park is owned and managed by the Dogwood Canyon Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the canyon’s natural plant and wildlife environment. The Foundation promotes environmental conservation by maintaining the park and providing the public with an unspoiled setting for exploration and the enjoyment of various outdoor activities.
The purposes of the Dogwood Canyon Foundation are to promote natural conservation and preservation and to preserve the natural environment and its wildlife and plant life by acquiring and maintaining ecologically significant, undeveloped land and preserving it for the benefit of the general public. To achieve its purpose, the Foundation owns, operates and maintains Dogwood Canyon Nature Park.
Be sure to share the pictures of my Nature Photography with your friends and family so we can show everyone just how beautiful the Dogwood Canyon Nature Trail is. If you’re ever in the area, stop by one of the most awesome little nature trails in Missouri.
