Having an iPhone is like being in a love hate relationship. There’s really no other way to put it. The phone is one of the greatest out there. The service is one of the worst. Of course, I’m speaking from experience and nothing more. It’s not like there’s a study indicating AT&T is the worst service provider out there, or is there?
For those of you who have the iPhone, you know exactly what I mean. For those of you who don’t, just ask one of us and we’ll be more than happy to tell you.
The Apple iPhone has some excellent features, but if you search on YouTube, you’ll soon discover a world of Apps and other programs (Most of them free) that are screaming to be on the iPhone.
One of those programs is called “My3G” which makes an app “think” it’s running on WiFi instead of 3G. Some apps require WiFi to run, so that’s why it’s such a handy program.
There’s another program called “MyWi 4.0″ which allows you to “Tether” your Internet connection via a USB cable to your laptop. They charge a 1 time fee, but it’s well worth it if you ask me. AT&T charges a monthly fee.
If you’re interested in jail breaking your iPhone, go to www.jailbreakme.com on you iPhone web browser. It’s simple, painless and doesn’t even require you to plug into your computer in order to do it. That’s a bonus!

I went ahead and bought My3g for $3.99, but I found a way to hack the MyWi portion. If anyone needs help, just let me know.

I had to buy the MyWi app too. Just don’t update to the lastest Apple software unless you know there’s a jailbreak for it.
