Productive Day

I went back to the Walmart Distribution Center last night for about 3 1/2 hours and got the last of my docks cut on the top! It was a great feeling to be done with one of the most difficult parts of the job. After 3 saw blades and massive gusts of exhaust, I can finally say the inside saw cutting is done!

I poured the floors on 5 of the last 8 docks yesterday as well. It should have only taken 5 yards of concrete, but I ended up using 6. Actually had to have them bring me the 6th yard as a call back.

If the wall saw guys show up tomorrow, it’s going to be a great day! I’m pretty sure they’ll be able to cut the last 3 docks in one day. They cut all 5 of the last ones in one day, so this should be a walk in the park!

The day started out a little uncomfortable, but as it progressed, it turned out just fine. I got an apology and a handshake (which obviously makes me forget everything) and work continued as normal.
