For the first time since March 7th, I’m taking a day off. I’ve got so much work to do, it’s hard to even imagine just sitting around and doing absolutely nothing! It’s actually quite hard. Alot of it has to do with the fact that as soon as I’m done with this job, I’m hoping to have a few days at home with my wife and girls… Sitting around taking a day off doesn’t allow me to get any closer to being done.
I was told by the GC the other day that we have a job to do in New Branfels, Texas when we’re done here and supposedly we’re going straight to Baytown, Texas after that.
Sometimes I wonder if all of this is worth it. I’ve actually thought that many times during this journey, but it becomes more and more relevant when the GC starts talking about going to 2 additional jobs. Do I get a chance to go home for a few days? Will I get to see my family? Hopefully those questions will be answered in a couple of weeks.
