20 Down, 3 To Go

I’ve been in Williamsburg, Virginia for almost a month and a half now. When I first arrived, I had no idea how the job was going to get done by the 2nd of May. We had a couple of issues that had to be resolved by Walmart, and that actually bought us an extra 3 days. Walmart felt bad for taking so long to make a decision and decided we should get a few extra days to complete the job! The official date for completion is now May 5th.

I’ve wasted no time since I’ve been here. I’ve kept things moving far quicker than anyone ever anticipated. The General Contractor told me last weekend that he’s used to seeing 5 people do what I’ve managed to do with 2 people. To be honest, I think it actually makes him a little angry. Why? Because I don’t have to pay the extra cost in labor! Unless you have a baby who doesn’t keep his word working for you, but that’s another post all together!

The bottom line is this…

I’ve managed to get the job done without delay even when the odds were stacked against me. God has Supernaturally given me the strength to get this job done on time and better than anyone ever thought we would! Yes, God did that for me! I don’t say it as much as I should, but without God in my life, this job would have been doomed before it ever got started.

We’ve officially completed 20 docks. Yesterday I finished saw cutting the outside of the remaining 3 docks. I pulled the concrete out of 2 of the docks last night.  It came out great! I’ll get the floors poured today and the last 3 docks will be finished by tomorrow! Yippee!!!
